The Pace 2600 (DS430n) Digibox is designed for all BSkyB's UK digital satellite services and is fast becoming the number 1 choice for use throughout Europe. The Pace 2600 Sky digital decoder has one of the most sensitive tuners available at present and is an ideal choice for the weaker signal areas, this Digibox also holds the record for the fastest channel change due to its high performance processor. So, if your tired of having a slow, outdated digibox and/or require a suitable Digibox for use throughout Europe? This is the ideal choice
The Pace 1000 Sky Minibox (DS220) was primarily designed for all BSkyB's UK digital satellite services as a second box in the home (additional Digibox subscription required), this would allow the viewing of two different satellite channels at the same time, although the Digibox was created with this purpose in mind they are being increasingly used for holiday homes, caravans and anywhere that space is a priority. The Pace 1000 Sky Minibox uses the same EPG and middleware functionality as a standard Digibox, thus providing a user-friendly on-screen 'Sky Guide', widescreen output and digital quality stereo sound. Not only that but it is also future-proofed with over-air downloadable software.
Panasonic have already proved with their previous versions of the Sky digital decoders (DSB20, 30, 31, 40 and 45) that they can make fast, good performing and reliable Digiboxes and although it's only early stages, the DSB50 seems to be just as good if not better.
The Thomson DSi4210 is another relatively new Sky digital decoder. The innards of the Thomson were taken from a previous model Digibox made by Grundig called the GDS3000. The Grundig GDS3000 stopped being manufactured in 2003 but was one of the most favoured Digiboxes for use in the fringe reception areas such as Cyprus, although it hasn't been confirmed, there is no reason to think that the Thomson shouldn't be as good.
