Questions about: Vision V21-2406 2 x 4 Way External Distribution Amplifier With Pre-amplifier

Any advantage in using 2 x 4way of the 2406 as compared with the 1806 both providing 8 ways? I need to connect 6x TV set. Thanks Brian

No advantage at all. You`d be better off using the 8 way really.

Hi,
I have an UHF / VHF diplexor and a Labgear 4-way masthead amp. Unfortunately, the amp filters out the FM signal so. Does the Vision splitter leave the FM signal intact? What's the advantage of a pre-amp?
I'm forty miles from Stockland Hill using a XB10A Aerial and getting a reasonable signal off a Labgear 4-way masthead amp on max gain.
Beacon Hill is much nearer but there is a big hill in the way - and the Newton Abbot relay does not have digital!

Hi Simon
Sounds like you have fed both your leads thriough your masthead before the diplexer. If this is the case, you need to extract the FM aerial lead from the masthead, and feed it directly into the diplexer. It is the masthead that is filtering out the FM signal.
