hi does the dish come with an lnb or is it seperate and if so the cost of a good quality one. |
Response
Hi
This item relates solely to the dish. If you require an LNB in addition, they can be found here:
http://www.dastv.co.uk/Single_LNB.php
The Universal would be the best choice for this dish.
Hope this helps

I presently have a 80cm dish on a motorised system. can I simply change my dish to this one? |
Response
I would have though that the increased size of the dish alone would lead to probelms regarding signal strength if you were to simply swap them straight over.

and can i get arabsat signal by this size of dish in Cork, Ireland. |

This is a circular dish, and as long it is aligned correctly to the approrpiate satellite, there is no reason you won`t be able to receive your chosen channels.

| Question: |
|
|
I have a satellite dish supplied by sky.
Is this a good quality dish or can I receive a better picture with a more modern up-date dish?
Thanks |
Response
The 110cm satellite dish is an exceptional product, as are all DAS items. But if you are only looking for terrestrial broadcasts from Sky, and your current dish is working ok, there is no need to upgrade to this size of dish. Customers who purchase this dish tend to be in the extremities of the Sky satellite footprint, or looking for programming from further afield.

Hello!
It's will be connecting Russian (TV) programm, French, Germany,Ukraine? |
Response
A dish of this size should be more than big enough to pick up your desired channels. However it all depends upon your location. Furthermore, to pick up transmissions from different countries, you may have to readjust your satellite for differing nations. I can put you in touch with a local satellite technician who will be able to advise you more preicsely, or if you ring customer service team direct on 0800 138 3052 and they may be able to get a DAS technican out to you.

HELLO I DO HAVE SKY DISH RIGHT NOW I WON'T TO GET ISRAELI CHANNEL IF BUY THIS DISH TD110 CAN I GET INDIAN AND ISRAELI CHANNEL |
Response
Zee TV`s current package can be seen here, and will be picked up by the TD110 as long as it is correctly aligned

To receive transmissions from India you would need a much larger dish. The same also applies to transmissions from Israel. The size of dish required is far greater than anything we can supply. My advice would be to talk to a local installer.

| Question: |
|
|
HI AGAIN WOULD THIS DISH PIK UP ANY OTHER SORT OF CHANNELS SUCH AS CHANNELS ABROUD E.G AMERICAN CHNNELS AAND STUFF LIKE THAT WITH ME JUST USING A FREEVIEW DVR BOX AS A "RECEIVER" |
Response
The further away the original signal is being beamed from (ie the host country) the bigger the dish you will need. This map shows the approximate sizes needed to pick up programmes from foreign countries
http://dastv.co.uk/docs/footprint_map.pdf
As you can see, you would need a much bigger dish than a 1.1m dish to recieve American signals.
To view whatever signal you can pick up, you would need a specialist receiver
http://www.dastv.co.uk/Digital_Satellite_Receivers.php
This dish is more than capable of picking up a wide variety of European programming, as long as it is properly aligned

| Question: |
|
|
WITH THIS SPECIFIC "DISH" CAN I USE IT ON MY FREE VIEW BOX (DVR) AND IF SO WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO MOUNT IT THAN YOU IN ADVANCE.
|
Response
The TD110 Pole Mounted Dish is perfect for picking up the freeview signal, depending upon your location.
This site
http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/upload … guide.html
should indictae where best to site your dish, whilst this article
http://dastv.co.uk/docs/UK_footprints.jpg
shows you what size dish you "should" need for your location, although the best indication is the size of your neighbours` dishes.
