Does the above stated receiver enable you to receive all German free analogue channels.

When correctly aligned to the apporpriate satellite, and used in tandem with a suitable satellite dish, the Triax DVB1000S will pick up all Frre To Air transmissions.

Question:
Would I need a viewing card for this box? Would my existing dish used with Sky be ok for this system? and is it in any way linked to the Sky systems as I do not want to deal with them any more.

When correctly aligned, the Triax DVB1000S will pick up all Free To Air transmissions, and these are non-subscription services.
If you are interested in non-Sky satellite services, I would recommend this site a starting point

Question:
I am looking for a digital receiver to use with my existing satellite dish to receive Italian tv. I have been informed that it will need to be set to Hot Bird 13 degrees east.
Will this product be adequate?

Depending on what channels you are looking to pick up, this receiver should be fine. Please be advised though that it is a Free To Air receiver, and there only Free To Air transmission will be received. Without knowing what programmes you are wanting, I cannot advise if this is the perfect kit for you. If you are hoping to get subscription channels, you will need a more expensive receiver which is equipped for thsoe channels.
