Can this be used for weak analogue signal areas?
Thanks |
Response
Hi
This aerial can be used in weak areas, but you would be well advised to have a look at the aerials your neighbours are using, as it goes without saying they will be experiencing the same problems as yourself.
A local CAI approved technician should give you afree quotation, and explain fully what you truly need. We would be happy to supply whatever he or she suggests.

I have a narrow boat that requires an arial. Preferably not too large, Im told at least 32 element, for use while traveling north/south on canals. Thanks |
Response
Hi
It goes without saying that as you travel around, the strength of the signal is going to vary. The direction you are travelling in makes little difference, and as long as you mount the arial somewhere easily accesible you should be able to adjust it accordingly.
Have a chat with your fellow enthusiasts and see what they use. If you are only viewing when static, you may end up with a dish, purely for simplicity`s sake. But if you need something to watch on the move, then an aerial will be your best bet.
Most 32 element aerials are much of a muchness, and it boils down to individual preference. The size varies little.

I live in South London, Streatham,SW16 5LT and want to put up an outside aerial to improve my TV reception and be ready for digital tv. Currently I have a indoor aerial. What type/model of outdoor aerial do I need? Thanks. |
Response
Our guys install Unix 52`s as standard on all new build work but without knowing the signal levels of the area I can`t give you a definitive answer.
