This masthead amplifier can be fitted to the aerial pole or in the roof space as close as possible to the aerial. It receives its 12 volt power feed from the P1235 power supply which can be fitted anywhere in the coaxial cable leading from the aerial to the VCR or TV but the cable must not have anything connected that will block the power (such as an isolated wall plate socket or a "Y" splitter).
